Howler - simple timer app for the Mac #edapp

Howler is a simple timer app by Fox N Sox for the Mac that howls.  This app is easy to use yet also powerful.  I could really see a lot of use for this kind of app on any Mac that is in a special education (or even general education) classroom.  Furthermore, this app would be effective to use with students who are on the autism spectrum, as they really benefit from set time limits for activities as well as advanced warnings prior to transitions (possibly use the chaining feature described below).
Features:
Note:  Those features listed in italics are available only the Pro version.
  • 3 different kinds of timers: countdown, alarm, or stopwatch
  • Configure as many timers as you need
  • Start timers quickly, without the mouse
  • Mute - set Howler to run silently without muting the system volume
  • Finishing options
    • Play whatever sound you want
    • Set Howler to loop itself or start a preset when it finishes
  • Chain multiple timers together: when one finishes, the next starts automatically
  • Presets
    • Remembers your last set timer
    • Save any timer for quick future access via menu or keyboard shortcut
  • Full screen mode
    • Zoom the display to use the full screen
    • Set Howlers to activate Full Screen Mode when started
  • Converts temperatures & cooking units
  • Supports Growl notifications

Suggestions for Improvement:

  • Add visual timers
  • Ability to control or set timers from your iOS device
